Scott Wilson has over 40 years' of experience in the delivery of
multidisciplinary service to private and public clients in the
Healthcare sector and we have designed the full range of clinical
facilities in the UK and globally. Our clients include
procuring organisations, funders, SPVs and constructors and we have
experience of a wide range of contractual forms. We aspire to
the highest standards of design to achieve environments which
promote healing and deliver operational efficiency
Under recent Government initiatives in the UK there is greater
emphases on care in the community with increased investment in
community hospitals and the achievement of upgraded primary care
facilities through the LIFT (and HUB) forms of PPP
investment. The Procure 21 programme for small and moderate
sized schemes at secondary faculties has been extended to 2009 and
PFI continues to be a funding mechanism, with new opportunities in
Northern Ireland. Care centres are being developed by both
the public and private sectors and the private sector is making
significant investment in acute facilities, including Independent
Sector Diagnostic and Treatment Centres, Internationally, private
and public funding of healthcare faculties remains at a high level
in our major areas of operation, particularly in the Middle
East. We are heavily committed in all these areas as a
leading multidisciplinary consultancy in the provision of
healthcare facilities and we continue to be retained by trusts in
the UK under traditional forms of contract.
We aim to provide a total integrated project delivery service
combining creativity with good space planning, efficient
integration of building services with buildability and cost
effectiveness, with energy efficiency and sustainability as key
targets. Lead services include architecture, landscape,
design planning and masterplanning, transport planning, structural
civil and geotechnical engineering and building services, other
expertise such as acoustics and environmental advice including
BREEAM assessments can be drawn on together with a wide range of
other support services.
